What is World Film Post?
WorldFilmPost is a PIXEL ART posting for anyone interested in the Film, Music, TV entertainment industry. It is a global posting of the media companies and film lover’s community.

In 1905, the first movie theater opens in Pittsburgh.1912, Photoplay debuts as the first magazine for movie. The Academy Awards are handed out for the first time in 1928. The first sound film was created in 1931 in India. Walt Disney introduced its first full-length animated feature in 1937. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs hits theatres and becomes an instant classic.

The code of decency, called Hays Code was instituted in 1930’s due to public and Catholic Church pressure for film censorship guidelines. In 1990, X rating is replaced by NC-17 (no children under 17). Cinema goes digital with Lost in Yonkers. By converting film into digital bits, film can now be cut on a computer, and that happened only in 1993, and the latest 3-D animation film Avatar made a splash on the theatre in December 2009. The latest tally shows that there is a total of 318,000 films and rising…
